Salman Khan's Kick racing towards 100-crore mark..

Rs.80 crore in three days! That's Salman Khan impact.
The Sajid Nadiadwala-directed blockbuster has set in early Eid celebrations for the makers by collecting a whopping Rs.83.83 crore nett at the box-office.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Kick's weekend figures stand Rs.26.50 crore on Friday, Rs.27.15 crore on Saturday and spectacular Rs.30.18 cror on Sunday, totalling Rs.83.83 crore nett.
The film, started off in a triumphant note and collected Rs.27.15 crore on Friday. The film is also the highest Salman Khan opener in USA-Canada.
However, Kick has failed to match all-time records of opening day collections in Bollywood despite getting a mammoth release of 5,000 screens.
The superstar's biggest opening day collection remains 32.90 crore, recorded by his 2012 Eid release, Ek Tha Tiger.
Trade pundits are predicting that Kick will see a hike in its collection Tuesday onwards.
Kick, also starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, was released in over 5,000 screens in India on Friday and in 42 other countries including non-traditional markets like France, Germany, Morocco and Maldives.

Tiger Shroff wants to do something special for his tigress..

Tiger Shroff wants International Tiger Day to be special for his cub, Lee.
The biggest debutant of the year, Tiger Shroff who made his debut with Sajid Nadiadwala's Heropanti, adopted a four-year-old tigress called Lee at the Maharajbagh zoo in Nagpur recently.
The actor visited the city during the adoption for the legal formalities and to see the tigress personally.

Now, on the occasion of International Tiger Day, the actor was keen to do something special for Lee. He makes sure that she gets fresh meat and told authorities to arrange a special shelter for her especially during the monsoons.
The actor has been bearing the expenses incurred for the tigress since then. He keeps checking on her to see whether she is healthy and well taken care of.
Tiger Shroff believes that tigers are a unique combination of beauty, fearlessness and power. He has always been fascinated by the ferocious, handsome and majestic animal. In fact he is inspired by their strength, agility and power who are unfortunately reducing in number.

My journey in India was beautiful, says Fawad Khan..

Pakistactor Fawad Khan, who is all set to make his Bollywood debut with 'Khoobsurat' opposite Sonam Kapoor, has said that his journey in India was beautiful and he felt warmly welcomed by everyone.
"It's beautiful, the people are also beautiful and I am not just talking about physical appearance but their attitude and behavior is also very nice. I feel very warmly welcomed", said Khan.
Speaking about the places he visited in India, the upcoming star said, "We saw as much as we could and to be honest Mumbai is a beautiful city, and there is a very progressive and positive vibe here. But what really interested me were the old architecture and the cities which are still in their old state, like Jaipur and Bikaner. So going around those places and meeting people has its own fun. I think, over all, I had a great journey in this country," he added.
After receiving a warm welcome by his co-actors and everybody else, Khan, who is among Pakistan's highest-paid actors, now wants to be a host to the Delhi 6 actress and show her his country, Pakistan.
"It would be a pleasure to show her around Pakistan, I think it's a good opportunity for all of us to connect with each other. As such opportunities come very rarely in life, we should make as much use of it as it's possible," he added.

Emraan Hashmi: I'll never work for free...

Emraan Hashmi, who is looking forward to his next 'Raja Natwarlal', seems to have a practical approach towards his acting job. He is not willing to slog for free, but at the same time he clarifies money is not the sole purpose behind accepting a project.

"Money is always at the heart of the thing, I won't do a film for free. Money is important, but money is not the sole purpose," Emraan told IANS.

In his over a decade of acting journey, he had hits like MurderRaaz and Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and misses such as FootpathDil Toh Baccha Hai Ji and Ghanchakkar

He feels that "if you do a film for money, it will never work because there are films where I get double the money but I don't end up doing it..."

This is so because the actor prefers good "script" and feels his movie should be total "paisa vasool".

"So it's not all about money. Money is important but to a certain point. You need to make good films and keep the audience happy. If the audience won't go out clapping after watching Raja Natwarlal, it would be cheating," said Emraan.

So far, the actor attempted various genres, however, his experiment with comedy thrillerGhanchakkar failed. He admits his fans want to see him in massy movies with a dollop of sex.

He said: "They do and that's why I am giving them 'Raja Natwarlal'. They were obviously disappointed (with Ghanchakkar), but it was something that I had to do. But I will bring something to 'Raja Natwarlal' after Ghanchakkarand you will see that on the screen."

"But if I do only films like Raja Natwarlal, I won't grow as an actor. So, creatively I need to grow and do something else that helps me grow as an actor."

In Raja Natwarlal Emraan is working with filmmaker Kunal Deshmukh for the fourth time, and says they enjoy a good camaraderie on the sets.

"This is my fourth film with him, we both understand each other, creatively he understands how I want things and the same goes with me - I know how he will implement things," Emraan said and added that there are "unspoken things on the film set".

"He knows when I need my space for my character and I know when he is unsure about something."

Deshmukh had three releases as a director - "Jannat", "Jannat 2" and "Tum Mile" - and Emraan played the male lead in all of them.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli holidaying in London! .

Looks like these two alleged love birds just can’t get enough of each other

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh- Deepika Padukone, there is one more starry couple who doesn’t mind globetrotting for love. Yes, we are talking about the very much-in love duo Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Like the other two couples, Ms Sharma and her beau also haven’t admitted being in a relationship but they are spotted together every now and then at various exotic locations. As of now, we hear the Jab Tak Hain Jaan girl is in London spending quality time with the handsome cricketer. Currently, Anushka is busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s family drama Dil Dhadakne Do in Turkey. But we hear the babe took some time out from her hectic schedule and zoomed off to London over the weekend to meet her boyfriend. Nothing new but sweet indeed, hai na? Virat, who is touring UK, was recently spotted with his ladylove at a Central London hotel.
While talking to a leading tabloid, a source said, “Both Anushka and Virat wore matching black clothes. While other cricketers went down to the hotel’s restaurant to have dinner, this couple was probably heading out for a private dinner.’’ Not too long ago, even VK flew down to Barcelona to be with Anushka. Guess this globetrotting isn’t going to end unless all these starry couples settle down once and for all, no?

Parvathy Omanakuttan spooked on the sets of Pizza 3D?

The actor claimed that she felt a supernatural presence on the sets of the film

On the first day of her shoot, Parvathy heard a voice that she couldn’t recognise.“Akshay (director) was just done narrating the scene to me. He moved out and just then someone happened to call me and as I turned and barely moved a couple of steps, the bulb that was hanging above my head fell to the ground. I heard the voice but didn’t know where it came from,” Parvathy told a popular news portal.
Another incident happened in between the shoot when she was in Jaipur for an event.
“I was put up in a suite in a palace hotel. When I just got back from an event to my room, I realised that my door opened up on its own and the curtains were flying inward. I was really spooked out and I ran across to the lobby to intimate the hotel staff,” she added.
Pizza 3D, which has been directed by debutant Akshay Akkineni, is the eponymous remake of a Tamil blockbuster.
The film also features Akshay Oberoi, Arunoday Singh and Dipannita Sharma in important roles.
